Yesterday was Halloween, so I am late on this post, but apart from the usual fun and festivities we had a little something extra special. Kelsey received a postcard from her new teacher. While I am the primary teacher for Kelsey, we do have a teacher in which to call upon for support, who also is responsible for checking our work and helping us to keep on track. She had been gone on a field trip with her own child to the east coast, specifically Washington D.C. I think, and she took a moment to find a little postcard about the presidents and Virginia. She sent it out to us, and Kelsey was thrilled. Needless to say a little thought makes all the difference.
We only have a few days more. Is it coincidental that the countdown to her starting home school coincides with me turning 30? What a year!
